Join me tonight for pregame and post game interviews with Head Coach Richie Burke and select players after the game. I am thrilled to be a part of the #SpiritFam and looking forward to a special season ahead! It appears Australian National Team players, Chloe Logarazo and Amy Harrison, will suit up for the Spirit after arriving from “Down Under” yesterday. It will be very interesting to see how the Spirit newcomers and veterans perform under the lights with about 20 preseason training sessions under their belt.
The Spirit have quite a bit of talent with USWNT players, Mallory Pugh, Rose Lavelle and Andi Sullivan. In addition to Logarzo and Harrison, Ashley Hatch scored two goals in the first preseason game beating JMU 5-0. Tonight’s test will be VERY different as the French side plays in the Division 1 Feminine, the premiere women’s league in France.
